How do I connect my Android phone to my Mac? +

Can I send and receive Android SMS from my Mac? +

Why do my Android and Mac keep disconnecting? +

The most common cause is Android's battery optimization killing the Bounce Companion app while the screen is off. Fix it by going to Settings → Battery → Apps → Bounce Companion and setting it to Unrestricted. Also enable Allow background activity. Both settings are required for a stable always-on connection.

Can I browse my Android phone files from Mac? +

Yes. The Remote File Browser lets you navigate Android directories (DCIM, Downloads, etc.) directly from the Mac interface and pull files to your Mac wirelessly. Note: protected system directories cannot be accessed for security reasons.

Does clipboard sync work both ways? +

Mac-to-Android clipboard sync works automatically for both text and images. Android-to-Mac is limited to text only due to Android's background app restrictions — highlight text on Android, tap Share, and select Bounce to push it to your Mac's clipboard.

Mac Installation Guide

Important: Because Bounce Connect is not signed from Appstore as i cant pay the fee now, macOS will block it initially for security reasons.

  1. Open the downloaded Bounce.dmg file and drag the app to your Applications folder.
  2. Try to open Bounce. You may see a warning that it cannot be opened. Dont click on move to trash, Just Click Done.
  3. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway to launch the app.
